Installation …
Now that we’ve covered the details of setting up the extra battery, let’s move on to installing the Smart Extra Battery together with the PowerStream micro inverter and/or power station.
Of course, there is not much to connect to this expansion battery. To be precise, there is only one connection option behind the side dust cap.
The EcoFlow extra battery cable from the “secret compartment” is plugged in there and that’s it!
Configuration via app is not required at this point and, as already mentioned on the previous page, is also not possible, as the connection is made via WLAN or Bluetooth via the respective main device (EcoFlow Delta 2 Max, EcoFlow PowerStream, EcoFlow Wave 2, etc.).
In this extension battery test, we will not go into much more detail about installation and setup, as we have already explained this step by step for the EcoFlow main devices. The installation and setup of the combination of power station, extension battery, solar module, micro inverter and the switchable sockets, on the other hand, is much more extensive. We have written a separate EcoFlow Powerstation and PowerStream installation guide for this purpose, where all the necessary steps are explained in detail.
On the next page, we take a look at the possible combinations with the expansion battery in practice.
We continue with the EcoFlow Smart Extra Battery Practical testing …
