The Netatmo Smart Thermostat is well-designed and enables central heating control including graphical evaluations via smartphone, tablet or PC.
To give a better overview, we have this time a small pros & cons list to the Netatmo Smart Thermostat created:
+ Easy programming and good overview in the app, as far as the main functions are concerned.
+ Works very reliably.
+ All functions are included, no additional costs through a subscription.
+ Possibility to add additional smart radiator thermostatic valves.
+ Compatible with most boilers.
+ Connection via voice control and access via the Internet possible.
+ Nice, simple design, with the possibility to customize the color.
– Some settings are a bit hidden in the app.
– The display is not illuminated.
– App control only via cloud, but basic functions available even in case of internet failure.
Overall, the Netatmo Smart Thermostat is highly recommended.
However, depending on how consciously you already control your heating, you shouldn’t expect too many savings. If you already have a programmable thermostat, not much will change.
However, if you currently only use very simple room thermostats and the heating is currently running constantly at 22°C for 24 hours, the smart thermostat can save a lot thanks to the reductions!
