The EcoFlow Powerstation washing machine automation works perfectly and should ensure that the laundry is finished at all times, even if the Powerstation battery is empty.
What may seem superfluous at first glance is really helpful in practice, because the Powerstation can now be charged with a solar panel and operates a washing machine or dryer or whatever you want to run completely independently. Only when the Li-Ion battery of the Powerstation is empty does the external power supply from the house socket kick in and reliably end the washing process. You can even legally bypass all limitations that are set for a balcony power station with 600 watts or now 800 watts, because you don’t operate the washing machine via an inverter, but directly via the power station – in our case an EcoFlow Delta 2 Max.
Of course, these are problems that you only have if you have a small solar system, a power station and a washing machine or dryer. But we think that this precision work is enormously important in order to save electricity or make optimum use of solar power and do something for the environment at the same time.
Incidentally, a query of the charge status of the EcoFlow River 2 Pro has not yet been implemented in the automation, so owners of the River 2 will unfortunately have to wait a little longer and until then can only control it using EcoFlow Smart Plugs.
